We offer a return to base warranty meaning the customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us and its return carriage. If a problem occurs we ask you to contact us within 5 days of invoice date to discuss the matter. New items are sold with a 12 month manufacturers warranty (unless otherwise stated).
Cyclearound reserves the right to alter specification without prior notice and also to substitute for similar or newer models of equal or greater specification. please note the images we use are for illustration purposes only. actual produst colours and styles may vary from season to season, however every effort is made to keep the images as current as possible.
RETURNS – We accept the return of any item within 7 days from date of invoice for a refund to the value of the item only as long as it’s in as new condition including original undamaged packaging, tags and labels. If items are not returned within 7 days we reserve the right to apply a handling and restocking charge of up to £20 or 20% whichever is greater, on returned goods. We cannot refund any item that has been specially ordered or cut from a roll, length, sheet or hose. Shortages and returns must be reported to us within 5 days of invoice date and a returns number must be obtained.
Returned goods must be received by us within 10 days of invoice date in as new condition including original undamaged packaging with a copy of the sales invoice, your original card payment details and the returns number.
The customer is responsible for all carriage charges involved in the item return and is advised to return any item by recorded delivery.
Lost item policy – Any item that does not arrive within 7 days from date of order must be reported to us and our non delivered/lost item procedure is that we must wait a clear 15 working days (not including weekends) for us to complete the post office claims form. When the item is refunded by the post office we will then make an immediate refund of the item to the customer.
Inspection Info - Please inspect your item carefully before signing for it. Items signed for as "received in good condition" cannot have a transit claim levied against them at a later date under ANY circumstances.
It is the customers responsibility to tell whoever signs on their behalf of these rules of receipt.
If you are unable to inspect, you must sign as "UNCHECKED" Not doing this voids the carriage insurance.
The transit insurance covers the cost of the bike/item only (Please note there is different levels of insurance included in the cost of the postage/courier but only to a max of £50.00), no refund of carriage OR extra insurance cover will be made in the event of return.
If you do receive a damaged item refuse delivery of it and contact us stating reason for refusal. We will then arrange for a replacement as soon as we have received the damaged item back. Any shortages must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of item.
Warranty info - For warranty claims we will repair or replace the faulty component at no cost (Carriage excluded). However, it is the customers responsibility to return the item.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the cycle is fully serviced according to the owners manual. Please remember the bike is supplied in an unserviced condition and requires set up of gears and brakes etc PRIOR to ANY use.
No claims under warranty can be entertained for the following:
Wear and tear
Abuse
Readjustment (gears and brakes)
Tyres / tubes chains, spokes, crank threads or friction parts and trueing
